It was an emotional, eventful, and hard-fought Gran Premio de la Comunitat Valenciana Race for Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP’s Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Quartararo. Morbidelli wanted to say goodbye to the team in the best way possible and pushed from P19 on the grid to P7. Quartararo was struck by illness but still soldiered on, riding from P15 to P11.
Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP’s Fabio Quartararo stretched the legs of his YZR-M1 in the 22-lap Grand Prix of Qatar Race. He made up a total of six places to take 7th at the chequered flag. Franco Morbidelli had a good start but struggled to push like he wanted to. He engaged in a tough battle for 15th place, but ultimately finished 16th.
Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP’s Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli showed competitive form in today’s Grand Prix of Malaysia Race. The duo put in some brave overtakes and completed the 20-lap contest in the sweltering heat in fifth and seventh place respectively.
The Thailand Grand Prix delivered one of the closest fought MotoGP races of the season. Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli started from P10 and P18 respectively and squeezed every ounce of performance out of their Yamaha YZR-M1s to secure P6 and P11 at the chequered flag. However, Quartararo ranked fifth in the Race classifications as Aleix Espargaró was handed a 3s post-session penalty.
Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP’s Fabio Quartararo showed his MotoGP superstar pedigree today. The hot conditions didn’t affect the top-fit Frenchman, who rallied to a third-place podium finish at the Grand Prix of Indonesia Race. Franco Morbidelli suffered an unlucky technical issue at the start but rejoined after a pit stop and still secured 14th place and 2 championship points.
The Grand Prix of Japan MotoGP Race proved to be unpredictable today. Spots of rain on the grid just as the warm-up lap was about to start added extra tension before the 24-lap race. The turn in the weather conditions ultimately caused both the Race and the restart to be red flagged. It was decided that the grid positions of the restart would count as the final result. Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli held 11th and 18th place respectively at the time of the red flag but gained a position through one rival not taking part in the restart, so Quartararo added five championship points to his tally.
The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP teammates withstood incredibly difficult riding conditions and reaped the rewards. Fabio Quartararo stood on the podium after the very first Grand Prix of India. Franco Morbidelli rode from P15 to P7, earning solid points.

Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP’s Fabio Quartararo fought like a lion today to take a brilliant second place at the Gran Premio d'Italia Oakley. The result extends his championship lead by 4 points to 8 points in total. Franco Morbidelli also showed fighting spirit in his and the team’s home race. Completing the opening lap in 24th place, he clawed his way up the ranks to finish in 17th.
Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP’s Fabio Quartararo ran a mature race. Following a poor start, he kept pushing and earned himself fourth place, thereby keeping the lead in the championship standings. Franco Morbidelli ran wide on the sighting lap but was able to start the race as usual. He shook off the incident, riding to 15th place and a championship point.
