Continuing with its upward trend of sales growth, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. has registered a growth of 42% in domestic sales during Aprilâ€™ 2014 as compared to the corresponding period last year. Along with its innovative ongoing customer-centric activities, exciting product line-up with the addition of â€˜Alphaâ€™ in its product line has been instrumental in boosting sales to higher orbits. Also, the company launched new color variants of FZ, FZ-S and Fazer this month which were received well by the target audience.
The company sold 51,158 units in April 2014 as against 35,927 units sold in April last year in the domestic market thereby registering a domestic sales growth of 42%.
Elaborating on the results, Mr. Roy Kurian, Vice President â€“ Sales & Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd, said, "This month indeed has been a good month for us as we were able to witness a brisk growth due to our superb product line-up and innovative customer centric activities. Alpha, launched at the Auto expo this year, has been a fundamental growth factor for us. Additionally, with the launch of new color variants of FZ series last month, we were able to maintain consistency in our overall growth and the results projected the same. We shall continue with our endeavors as far as customer engagement program is considered."
