This suspension uses one shock absorber unit positioned near the center of the chassis. It is attached to the chassis in a structure that connects the front end of the rear arm to the [main] frame. This makes it possible to to get longer wheel travel for the rear wheel and a longer stroke for the shock absorber, thus ensuring plenty of wheel travel. In addition, because this suspension is located closer to the machine’s center, it contributes to better concentration of mass for more agile handling, much like the fit body of an athlete.
