At first glance this muffler looks small, but it actually has about 20% more capacity (volume) than the muffler of the Gladiator to ensure optimum engine performance plus quietness. But even that is not enough to ensure great performance, (on the FZ16) this muffler is designed with roughly 1.5m of exhaust pipe passing through the chamber in a loop configuration. This is the key to this exhaust system’s capacity to bring out torque-y engine performance.
