This suspension is designed to provide the ideal combination of comfort in normal riding and excellent handling stability in high-load running conditions. The linked system is designed in a way that the "lever ratio" the suspension functions at is variable, depending on the amount of load [force] applied to the suspension. For smaller loads [forces] the lever ratio is larger and for bigger loads, like when hitting a bump at high speeds, the lever ratio decreases to deal with the increased load.
